Drillwell Oceanic provides lifting gear inspection mainly for offshore rigs.
Inspection is conducted in line with regional specific requirement, and international standards; LOLER, API, British Standards, ASME & ANSI.

Survey range are wide but not limited to the following :

– loose lifting equipment, eg. Chain hoist, lever hoist, shackles, slings, etc.
– fixed lifting equipment eg. Padeyes, beams, winches, man riders,
– Cargo Carrying Unit eg. Work basket, Container, offshore skips, etc
– Visual and function as applicable to lifting equipment
– Provides load test of lifting gear equipment (padeye, beams, winches)
– colour code of all lifting equipment accordingly

Separately, Drillwell Oceanic can also offer API RP 2D crane inspectors for certifying rig cranes in accordance to API RP 2C, API RP 2D & BS 7121.

Crane inspection also includes NDT of critical areas.
Drillwell Oceanic also provides load test of cranes, by our qualified API offshore crane inspector.
